Article states Fire Chief Harold Kane praised firefighters for their action, and singled out firemen William Savage and Richard Henches who administered the artificial respiration, as doing work above and beyond their duties. It goes onto say he was going to recommend those two men be given a citation

All 3 trucks are working at the scene even though it is a just a 3rd alarm. Typically the 3rd due truck was came in on the general alarm, unless it was special called. In this case T-3 Snorkel was special called.  1st Alarm response was Truck 2 and 2nd Alarm Truck 1.
