February 17, 1960: PFD Mutual  Aid Response: General Alarm fire at the Velveray Corporation on Pleasant Avenue in Clifton - 4 engine companies (E7, E9, E12, E13), one truck company (1), the supply truck, Acting Chief of Department (Joe Bray), 3 deputy chiefs (Chaplain, Peppinghaus, Kane) and 1 Battalion Chief (Dugan). One PFD engine and 1 Truck company also relocated to PFD firehouse. Passaic F/F William Jackson made the Supreme Sacrifice. Passaic also lost fire apparatus (photos below)
