April 11, 2022:First run for new RAC Unit @22:32 Hrs - B3, B2, E4, E5, E2, E1, L2, L3, R2, RAC (2232) Incident # 11,070 3 Arch St KAJ Inc. (Junk Yard). This was an overheated Tesla Battery that was removed from the vehicle several months ago. PFD cooled the Battery for approx. 45 minutes and the owner placed the Battery in the center of the yard (no exposures). The battery maintained ambient temperature after it was cooled.

May 11, 2022: 17:45 hrs. Large brush fire off Benson Drive in Garret Mountain Reservation. Paterson and West Paterson departments fought the large blaze. WPFD E-3, E-1 along with Paterson E-7, L-2 and the RAC unit were assisted by WPFD E-2 and E-4 that brought additional water to the scene. Photos below by Todd Hollritt

Ladder 3 Firefighters Firefighter Andrew Mingione hoisted via the raised aerial colleagues Lucas Zarate and Eddie Jimenez to rescue a troubled suicidal teen jumper.
